TELEMIF 20 MG

TELEMIF belongs to a class of medicines known as angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Angiotensin II is a substance produced in your body which causes your blood vessels to narrow, thus increasing your blood pressure. TELEMIF blocks the effect of angiotensin II so that the blood vessels relax, and your blood pressure is lowered.

TELEMIF-H

Telmisartan is a newer type of blood pressure medicine known as an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB for short). As the name implies, telmisartan blocks angiotensin II receptors. This decreases the effectiveness of a chemical known as angiotensin II, which normally causes blood vessels to narrow (constrict). By blocking the effects of angiotensin II, telmisartan causes blood vessels to relax.
Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, which is commonly referred to as a "water pill." It works by increasing the amount of salt and water that the kidneys remove from the blood. This extra salt and water are passed out through the urine. By increasing the amount of water removed from the blood, hydrochlorothiazide causes a decrease in blood volume.

ATMOSTAT 10 MG

Atorvastatin is in a group of drugs called HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, or "statins." Atorvastatin reduces levels of "bad" cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein, or LDL) and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing levels of "good" cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein, or HDL).
Atorvastatin is used to treat high cholesterol, and to lower the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other heart complications in people with type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, or other risk factors.
Atorvastatin is used in adults and children who are at least 10 years old.

ATMOSTAT-EZ

Atorvastatin is a selective, competitive HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. Atorvastatin is the only drug in its class specifically indicated for lowering both elevated LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides in patients with hypercholesterolemia. It prevents coronary atherosclerosis and reduces the risk of heart attack.
Ezetimibe is in a class of lipid-lowering compounds that selectively inhibits the intestinal absorption of cholesterol and related phytosterols.

Amlodipine is given to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is also taken to help prevent angina chest pain. You may have been prescribed it for either of these reasons.
Amlodipine works by causing some of your blood vessels to relax and widen. This lowers your blood pressure. It also reduces the force and the rate of your heartbeat, and this helps to prevent angina chest pain. It does these things by blocking the amount of calcium that goes into the 'smooth' muscle cells in the walls of your arteries and in your heart. Calcium is needed for muscles to contract, so reducing the amount of calcium causes the muscle cells to relax.

ATMONIL-AM

Amlodipine besilate is a dihydropyridine calcium antagonist that inhibits the transmembrane influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle.
Atenolol is phenylacetamide, a selective β1 receptor blocker. It blocks the effects of adrenergic stimulation mediated through these receptors.
